Job 
Summary : The job holder 
will develop, implement, monitor & evaluate the HR Business Partnering 
frame work in line with the bank’s business strategy and drive the achievement 
of unit objectives and overall Bank’s objectives through the implementation of 
HR strategy and policies.
Key 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  - Develop 
and establish and monitor implementation of the HR Business Partnering 
model in the Bank to align the HR agenda with Business growth strategies. 
  - Partner 
with senior management teams to identify current and future staff business 
needs, and design appropriate HR & OD strategies, plans, 
structures and interventions to enable the Bank achieve its short and long 
term business plans. 
  - Provide 
the strategic interface between HR and specific Divisions to integrate a 
strategic approach to people management and act as a catalyst for 
innovation by driving change to achieve alignment aimed at effective and 
efficient frontline service delivery. 
  - Develop, 
review, roll out and monitor the implementation of the Bank’s Performance 
Management System and Performance Improvement plan process to create a 
high performance culture bank wide, at both individual and organizational 
level. 
  - Guide 
and direct the activities of HR staff and project teams to ensure 
effective HR operational support to line managers 
  - Support 
organizational change by ensuring that the appropriate structures 
are in place as a means of identifying productivity improvement 
opportunities, communicating reporting relationships, defining jobs and 
projecting the growth strategies of the Bank in line with the bank 
staffing plan and budget 
  - Work 
in partnership with Senior management teams, develop a business/ 
productivity driven resourcing strategy and monitor delivery 
of the strategy in order to enable the Bank achieve its business plan. 
  - Asses 
the need for talent, coordinate and implement succession planning and 
talent management strategies that will support the delivery of business 
requirements in relation to the current and future competence, knowledge 
and skills needs for the Bank 
  - Monitor 
and review bank HR metrics including specific Divisions / regions in order 
to define staffing risks and challenges and engage line divisions and 
stake holders on corrective and collective actions. 
  - Manage 
the performance of staff under direct supervision in accordance with the 
Performance Management guidelines. 
Qualifications, 
Skills & Experience:
  - Bachelor’s 
degree plus a post graduate qualifications in the field of HRM, 
Organizational psychology and /or business administration. A Masters 
Degree in the relevant field is an added advantage. 
  - At 
least 5 years of practical and progressive experience in an HR Management 
role at a Senior level in a reputable organization preferably in a 
financial institution or FMCG. 
  - Hands 
on experience in HR Business partnering and in using the balanced 
score card as a performance management tool. 
  - Strong 
leadership and supervisory skills with proven ability in building, leading 
and working with teams. 
  - A 
high level of integrity, strong interpersonal and communication skills and 
the ability to work effectively with a diverse community. 
  - Thorough 
and proven understanding of HR best in class practices. 
  - Hands 
on experience in using HR information systems and project management for 
business support. 
  - Ability 
to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks . 
  - Creative 
& innovative with a customer centric disposition
